Victoria Celeste Niffenegger passed away at home on May 24, 2023. Born on October 19, 2022, the oldest of identical twins, Victoria was an immense joy to every life she touched during her brief seven months on Earth.
Victoria was the daughter of Jacob and Susan Niffenegger; sister of twin, Lorelai Rae; sister to Azaria Lorinda and to her brother, Siegfried Lee. She is celebrated by maternal grandparents, Vickie (Tony) Hill and John Skiles; paternal grandparents, Christopher and Lorinda Niffenegger; great-grandmother, Joyce Kruithoff; great-grandfather, Louis Colon; and aunts, Nicole Skiles and Lindsey Niffenegger. She is preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Anny Skiles, Bill Skiles and Violet Colon; and paternal great-grandparents, William and Patricia Niffenegger, Jerry Kruithoff and Betty Kruithoff, all of whom are now taking turns holding her gently in heaven. Victoria is also celebrated by several great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 12:00 PM with a Celebration of Victoria’s Life service starting at 1:00 PM at Gorden Funeral Residence, 528 Trowbridge Street, Allegan, MI. Victoria will be laid to rest in Hudson Corners Cemetery and a luncheon will follow at the Allegan Township Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations in Victoria’s memory may be made to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, Spectrum Health Foundation, 25 Michigan Street NE, Suite 4100, Grand Rapids, MI 49503; or to the Niffenegger family to support and assist with any expenses.
