Paul Madalinski Obituary

Paul Chester Madalinski, a devoted family man, and respected community member, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2024, at the age of 74, in Hopkins, MI. Born on May 23, 1949, in Allegan, MI, Paul's life was characterized by his loving nature and deep faith. Predeceased by his parents, Chester and Frances (Pergande) Madalinski, Paul's legacy continues through his beloved family. He is survived by his cherished wife, Susan Madalinski, and his two sons, Cory Madalinski and Joe (Courtney) Madalinski. Paul's joy was multiplied with the birth of his grandchild, Elric Paul Madalinski, who shared more than just a name with his grandfather, whom he lovingly called “Bumpa”. His surviving sister, Kathy (Akbar) Bardikalaie, as well as his proceeded sisters Joanne Barnes, and Leona Stough, all fondly remember their brother's unwavering support and kindness. Paul proudly served in the National Guard for six years, a testament to his dedication to his country. His professional life was spent as a welder fabricator at Key Gas in Allegan, where he was known for his strong work ethic and meticulous craftsmanship. After years of diligent service, he retired, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and reliability.

A man of many interests, Paul was an avid outdoorsman who cherished the annual tradition of hunting for Morel mushrooms. His enthusiasm for the Detroit Tigers was infectious, and he rarely missed a game, whether it was on the radio, television, or in person. Above all, Paul treasured the time spent with his family, creating memories that they will hold dear forever. Paul was a lifetime member of Blessed Sacrament, where his faith was both a personal compass and a source of communal strength. He served his church community as an usher and a janitor, roles he performed with humility and joy. His faith-filled life was an inspiration to many, and his actions within the church reflected the loving spirit he carried with him always. Those who knew Paul will remember him as a man whose life was built on the foundation of love and faith. His warm smile, generous heart, and unwavering commitment to his family and friends defined his character. Paul's presence was a comfort and a pillar of strength to all who were fortunate enough to cross his path.

As we bid farewell to Paul Chester Madalinski, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by devotion to family, service to community, and an enduring faith that guided him through every chapter of his journey.
