Marvin Studtman Obituary

Marvin Lee Studtman, 76, passed away February 13, 2023 at his home. He was born in Elmhurst, Illinois on November 6, 1946.  He spent his young life in Illinois and moved to Scottsdale, AZ as a teen. Marvin married and started a family then moved to La Jolla, CA where he worked as a meat cutter at the beginning of his adult life, but his passion has always been in antiques. Marvin could sniff out an auction anywhere and would turn a box of “junk” into a gold mine. Marvin was the master of storytelling and would sit for hours reminiscing over a cup of coffee, or 12 cups. He would love to attend family functions, cookouts, and gatherings to spend time with his family.

Marvin was proceeded in in death by his parents, Harvey and Martha (Barbour) Studtman; his brother, Allen Studtman; and his son, Mack Studtman.  He is survived by his wife, Wilma Studtman of Allegan; his daughters, Amy Burgett of Lebanon IN, Susan Luthy of Plainwell and Sarah Studtman of Pullman; his grandchildren, Andrew (Melissa) Sigler of Elkhart IN, Christian Studtman of TX, Sydney Studtman and Tate Studtman of Allegan, Hollee Burgett of Grand Junction, Coral (Chris) Elhart of Grand Junction, Baylee Burgett of Lebanon IN, Zachary Runkel and Macey Runkel of Hopkins, and James, Emily, Kyle, and Jacob Grogh of Pullman. Along with nephews, Ross Studtman and Clay Studtman and several great-grandchildren.
