of Hopkins, and of Texas, died Wednesday, October 1, 2014, in Victoria, TX. Mr. Peterman was born January 16, 1958, in Grand Rapids, the son of Donald and Ann (Bruinsma) Peterman. He was a Veteran of the United States Marines. Ken had worked for Steelcase in Grand Rapids for 30 years, he was a member of the Dorr American Legion, Wayland VFW Post Men's Auxillary, and the Moose Lodge of Otsego #345. Surviving are his wife: Pamela; 5 children: Edward and Toni Marcoux, Katrina and Shawn Lawrence, Thomas and Cara Marcoux, K.J. Peterman, Ashley and Josh Commons; 8 grandchildren; his father and mother: Don and Ann Peterman; 2 brothers: Donald Peterman, David and Terene Peterman; his sister: Martha and Jim Tucker; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother: Rick. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, where Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday. Pastor Len Schildroth will officiate. Interment at East Elmwood Cemetery, Wayland. Memorials may be made to the Gorden Funeral Residence, to help family with expenses.
