Kellie Houser Obituary

Kellie Lynn Houser of Allegan, Michigan passed peacefully surrounded by her family February 9, 2023. Kellie was born on January 31, 1973, to Nelson and Debbra (Borck) Renner. Kellie grew up in Onsted, Michigan where she graduated from her high school class of ‘91. She would go on to further her education at Grand Valley State University and receive her bachelor's degree in accounting in the class of ‘95. During her time at Grand Valley, she met her future husband Bill Jr whom she was married to for 25 joyful years. Kellie was kind, smart, strong, driven, and full of compassion. She made everyone feel special and appreciated. Kellie was a determined and hard-working woman making a high impact wherever she worked. Eventually she would land a career with Wolverine Pipeline as the accounting manager serving 16 dedicated years. Kellie was full of adventure and brought life to everyone she met. She and Bill had three incredible children together Blake, Brooke, and Brody. Her children were the most important thing to her. Being with her family and supporting them in all their activities in school or in daily lives, was where she most enjoyed spending her time. When kids had sporting events like motocross, swimming, baseball etc., she would schedule camping trips around those events and make an adventure out of it for the whole family. She enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, trips to Silver Lake, and spring break vacations with her family. Kellie and Bill enjoyed their private time travelling to Traverse City for the fall colors or date weekends in Chicago, and always making sure to bring something back for the kids. Kellie was a strong, kind, loving, and passionate soul that was taken too soon.

Kellie is survived by her husband Bill Houser Jr., children; Blake, Brooke, and Brody Houser, parents; Debbra and Nelson Renner, siblings; Abby (Clint) Starrs, and Seth (Ashley) Renner, in-laws; Bill Sr. and Carol Houser, brother-in-law; Brad (Monica) Houser, nieces and nephews; Loryn, Rylee, Ezra, Ethan, and Rorey. Also surviving is a special aunt who is dear to her heart, Denice Broich.
