Judy Ann (Spencer) Peters

Judy Ann (Spencer) Peters passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Ascension Borgess Hospital, Kalamazoo, Michigan after a short battle with Cancer. Judy was born April 28, 1948 to Wayne and June Spencer. She married Roger F. Peters July 2, 1966. Together they ran Allegan Hardwood then later, Hi-Way Variety.

Judy was preceded in death by Roger and her son, Kirk.

Judy loved a good time, a good drink and good music. Never did one hear a single note of country music come from her radio.

Though best known for her eye rolls, her family could always depend on Judy for a good meal and each member had their favorite made from scratch birthday cake.
Judy was a member of the Allegan Eagles Auxiliary 2315 for sixteen years. She could always be counted on to donate a dish to pass, support of friends, a good laugh, and strong opinions. She loved deeply and her home was a refuge to many throughout the years.

Surviving Judy are her grandson and "partner in crime", Caleb Peters; son, Greg (Jody) Peters; granddaughter, Samantha (Josh) Brossia; great-grandsons, Brenden Stanley and Kallen Brossia; and chosen grandsons, Jeremy Thompson, Alex (Lyric) Steinberg and Kristopher Steinberg.

A celebration of Judy's life will take place at the Allegan Eagles on Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Service Details. Celebration of Life Sunday, November 13th, 2022 |
