Gary Alan DeKilder

Gary Alan DeKilder, 64 of Allegan, Michigan, passed away at his home on February 2, 2023.  Born November 15, 1958 in Plainwell, Michigan, he was the son of the late Donald and Lila Mae (McKibbin) DeKilder and the husband of Carla (Temple) DeKilder.  Gary graduated from Martin High School in 1976, then enlisted in the Navy and served his country honorably for four years.  Gary retired in 2015 from Haworth after 28 years with the company.  He enjoyed fishing and also loved to take his chances at the casinos gambling. He was a kind and caring husband, father and grandfather.  His presence from their lives is already felt greatly.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Carla; his sons, Gary, Dale and Bill; grandchildren, Rylee, Gavin, Jenna, Dillion, Jaz, Jarid and Ethan; and one great-grandson, Aidin; his siblings and in-laws, David and Sandy, Deke and Helen, Steve DeKilder, Gail and Tom Stockdale, Joan Gonzales, Del and Chris, Greg and Sue and Carl Temple, also Roger and Cindy Brossia. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Lil Mae (McKibbon) DeKilder; his first wife, Luann (Hamm) DeKilder; siblings, Donald DeKilder Jr. and Donna Mae DeKilder; and sister-in-law, Fran (Heffner) DeKilder.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
