Allegan, died Monday, December 8, 2008 at Briarwood Assisted Living, in Allegan. Mrs Granger was born March 13, 1922, in Wood County, Ohio, the daughter of Chris and Lydia (Weismiller) Boysen. Evelyn was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church. She loved when the family got together for parties, birthdays and just visiting. She spent many hours doing plastic needle craft and baking cookies. Surviving are her 9 children, Sandy and Jerry Hartman, John Giuliani, Rose and Wynn Morrie, Ward and Robin Granger, Mark and Amanda Granger, Gerry and Ray Harris, Marce and Bruce Berkel, Mary Jean Brower and Curlene and Ron VanDyke, 22 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 1 sister Luella Button, several nieces, nephews and cousins, She was preceded in death by her husband, Curle, her daughter, Marilyn Kaechele, 2 granddaughters, 4 brothers, Alton, Glenn, Norman and Merrit. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday from 6 - 8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where the funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 am. Pastors Ronald Kruse and Donald Seelhoff will officiate. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or the Wings of Hope Hospice.
