Trowbridge Twp., Allegan, MI, died Sunday, March 23, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital, Grand Rapids. Mrs. McKenney was born June 13, 1935 in Birch Run, the daughter of Lester and Florence (McClure) McCullough. She was a 1953 graduate of Clio High School and had attended Central Bible College, in Springfield, MO. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Allegan for more than 40 years. Surviving are her husband, Stanley; 2 children, Stanley Jr. and Donna McKenney of Allegan and Patti and David VanLuven of Byron Center; 3 grandchildren, Troy and Rosemary McKenney, Corey VanLuven, and Rikki Shingledecker; 3 great-grandchildren, Brandon, Brittney, and Brianna; 2 brothers, Stanley McCullough of Clio and Lawrence McCullough of Flint; 1 sister, Nadine Cornelius of Louisiana; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey, 2 sisters, Thelma and Eva, and 1 brother, Lonnie. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. Pastors Earl Zager, Donald Williams and Karl Tsatalbasidis officiating. Interment Mallory Cemetery, Trowbridge Twp., MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice or Dollars for Scholars.
