of Allegan, died December 7, 2013, at the Allegan General Hospital. Mr. Hardy was born May 3, 1930, in Auburn, Indiana, the son of Arthur and Harriett (Severy) Hardy. Dean graduated from High School in Auburn, Indiana. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He worked for Carl Goodwin and Son's in Allegan for many years. Surviving are his wife, Mary, 3 children, Steven Hardy, Mark Hardy, John and Loretta Hardy, 6 grandchildren, James, Faith, Ash, Holly, Josh, and Dereck, 5 great grandchildren, Isaiah, Caylie, Alivia, Hazel, and Annalise, her brother, Roger and Joan Hardy, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dean was preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Eldon and Roger, and his sister, Demaras. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, December 12, from 6-8 pm, at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 am. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan.
