of Plainwell, died Saturday, June 6, 2009 at his home. Mr. Haight was born August, 21, 1952, in Howard City, the son of Earl and Cleatha (Garlock) Haight. He was a graduate of Allegan High School Class of 1972, and had attended Kalamazoo Valley. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. David was currently working for Perrigo, and had been employed there for the past 31 years. Surviving are his closest companion of the past 31 years, Wendy Southwick, her children, Tonya and Gary Smith of Allegan and Nikki and Kelli Rumery of Gobles, 3 grandchildren, Sydney, Gabrielle and Jackson David, 1 brother, Joseph, and his sister, Carol. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Phillip. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where the funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1 pm. Pastor Herb Curry from the Chicora Country Chapel will officiate. Interment Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Twp. Memorials may be made to the Dollars for Scholars.
