Allegan, MI, formerly of Louisiana, died Friday, December 8, 2006 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mr. Nimmo was born May 8, 1922 in Lane, Oklahoma, the son of George and Ida (Jill) Nimmo. He was a retired Baptist minister. He had served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a survivor of Pearl Harbor. Surviving are his wife, Trudy; 6 children Wayne, Dwayne and Donna Nimmo, all of California, Richard and Gayle Padgett of Utah, Sandra and Dennis Spaulding of Allegan and Belinda and Doug Reynolds of Oregon; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Pastor Fred Perry officiating. Interment Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI.
