Grand Rapids, MI, formerly of Watson Twp., died Sunday, September 2, 2007 at Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods in Byron Center. Mr. Hennessey was born July 14, 1931 in Plainwell, MI, the son of Maurice & Margaret ( Maher) Hennessey. Bill graduated from Martin High School in 1950. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a past member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Watson and had worked for over 26 years in Kalamazoo at Box Board. Surviving are his brother, Jack Hennessey of California; 2 cousins, Edward & Margaret Guider of Martin and Mary Jane & Frank Velesz of Virginia; 2 very special friends, Sharon Campbell and her son Eric of Grand Rapids. There will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Watson Twp. Rev. Fr. Alan P. Jorgensen Celebrant. Burial at the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel.
