Allegan, died Thursday, February 18, 2010, at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Mr. Currie was born, April 17, 1916, in Allegan, the son of Robert and Rachel (Carlisle) Currie. He was a member of the First Baptist Church for many years. He had farmed all his life in the Cheshire Twp. area, growing fruit, vegetables and crops. Surviving are his Son, Philip and Rebecca Currie of Comstock, 4 grandchildren, Jason, Sarah, Tammy and Cathy, many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice, and his son, Dan. Friends may meet with the family on Monday from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am. Pastor Raymond Mayhew will officiate.
