BURTON, William B. McAllen, TX, formerly of Allegan, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2002 in Texas. Mr. Burton was born Nov. 30, 1920 in Poplar Bluff, MO, the son of Benjamin and Donia (Pigg) Burton. He was a member of the Otsego Moose Lodge and the American Legion and had retired from Parker Hannifan. Surviving are his daughter, Janet Stedman, of Pullman; 13 grandchildren; 4 great granddaughters and several step great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Milford Chamberlain of South Haven; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wives, Verna and Joyce, daughter, Mary, grandson, Paul Eich, and sister, Mary. Friends may meet with the family from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. There will be no funeral service. Interment Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to the Otsego Moose Lodge.
