Trowbridge Twp., Allegan, MI, died Friday, September 10, 2004 at his home. Mr. Arlington was born January 4, 1942 in Edmore, Michigan, the son of Benjamin F. and Eva Mae (Thompson) Arlington, Sr. He was a 1961 graduate of Allegan High School and was in the U.S. Army for 81/2 years, serving in Korea and Vietnam. He had worked at Menasha Corp for 27 years, retiring in 2000. He loved working on his woods and pond. Surviving are his wife, Sharon (McCormick) whom he married Nov. 3, 1972; 1 son, William Christopher Arlington of Hillsboro, TX; 1 granddaughter, Brytne; father, Benjamin F. Arlington, Sr. of Allegan; 2 brothers, Ben and Shirley Arlington, Jr. of Allegan, and Tom Arlington and Diane Robinson of Gobles; 2 sisters, Chloe Arlington of Allegan and Jean "Eva" and Ray Taylor of Holland; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda (Madison) and his mother. There will be no visitation. A memorial service with military honors will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI. Pastor Dennis Goodrich officiating. Contributions may be made to Grateful Acres in Otsego or Wings of Hope Hospice.
