Penny, Wayne B., of Kalamazoo, formerly of Allegan, died Wednesday, February 26, 2003. Mr. Penny was born July 30, 1947 in Allegan, the son of Bruce & Angeline (Seekman) Penny. Wayne was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served 2 tours of duty in Vietnam. He was currently employed with Total Logistic Control (TLC) in Zeeland for 15 years, he also traveled with the fair circuit and worked for Boots Concessions for over 15 years. Surviving are 2 brothers; Larry & Betty Penny and David Morse & Beverly Frost all of Allegan and his sister, Janice Misner and Ernie Horton of Plainwell, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday from 3-5 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, www.gordenfuneral.com, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11am. Pastor Jack Eitelbuss from First Church of God in Allegan will officiate. Military Graveside services will be conducted by the Otsego VFW Post 3030 in Mallory Cemetery, Trowbridge Twp. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
