of Allegan, passed away, Monday, March 8, 2010. Ward was born January 19, 1935, in Cheshire Twp., the son of Byron and Mildred (Haygreen) Himmelein. Ward was born and died in the same house in Cheshire Twp. He graduated from Bloomingdale High School in 1953. He was a member of Local 324, International Union of Operating Engineers for over 50 years. He also was involved in Philly Feed in Allegan, along with his brother. Surviving are his 3 children, Pam Poston of Paw Paw, Dan Himmelein and Brian Himmelein both of Kalamazoo, 3 grandchildren, Brett, Brooke and Ben, 1 brother Phil and Carolyn Himmelein of Allegan, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Dean and Howard and his sister, Helen Marble. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Merson Church from 2-4 pm, for a time of sharing and refreshments. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
