of Otsego, died Monday, April 19, 2010, at Life Care Center in Plainwell. Mrs. Schweikert was born November 3, 1929, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of William and Audie (Jackson) Wearne. Wanda was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Allegan, Secretary of the Womens Auxiliary of the American Legion for over 50 years and helped them with Bingo. She worked at Kesslers in Wayland for over 25 years. Surviving are her 3 children, Eric and Elizabeth Schweikert, Karla and Mike Labby, and Marlene Shriver all of Otsego, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman and her infant son, Steven. Friends may meet with the family on Friday from 2-3 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 Friday at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp. Pastor Karen Fitz La Barge from the Presbyterian Church will officiate. Memorials may be made to the In House Hospice.
