of Allegan, died Sunday, May 3, 2015, at the Allegan County Medical Care Community. Mrs. Myers was born December 31, 1926, in Detroit, the daughter of Dale and Clara (Lutz) Shafer. Wanda graduated from Gobles High School, and later married Franklin Myers, on March 11, 1947, in Kansas. She worked at both Bethany Nursing home, and Metron as a nurse's aide. She was a school crossing guard for the City of Allegan, and loved her job as a Lobby Lady, at McDonald's in Allegan. Surviving are her 3 children: Wanita and Ralph Franklin, April and Paul Henrickson, Cindy and David Cooley; 6 grandchildren: Frankie Lynn, Mark Allen, Ryan, Kyle, Benjamin Lee, Rachel Mara; 13 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin; great grandson, Dallas; brother, Harry. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at 12 noon, at Lindsley Cemetery, Cheshire Twp.
