80, of Allegan, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Walter was born on June 7, 1933 in Pullman, Michigan, the son of John and Mary (Kumorek) Sobol. Surviving is his niece Sharon Carpenter; his nephew Edward Wojnarowski; and his caregivers: Peter Forstner, Gale Morrie, Jeff Heines, and Norma Knoltun. He is preceded in death by his sister Jennie Wojnarowski. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel from 6-8:00 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be on Monday, July 8, 2013 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Allegan at 11:00 A.M. Father Jorgensen is the Celebrant. An inurnment will take place at a later date at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Cemetery, Allegan.
