91, of Allegan, died July 30, 2013 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was born on February 9, 1922 in Gun Plain Township, Michigan, the son of Walter and Grace (Olson) Smith. Walter was a long-time resident of Allegan, and had retired from Rockwell after having worked there for 35 years. Surviving is his brother Ronald Sr (Dolores) Smith; his nephew Ronald Jr (Mona) Smith; his grandnephews: Randel (Michelle) Smith, Ray (Kim) DesVoignes, Rodney (Autumn) DesVoignes, Richard (Janine) DesVoignes; his great-grand nieces and nephews: Braden, Trevor, Carmen, Josh, Ben, Rebecca, Rachael, Renee, Rodney II, Kayla, Marisa; his cousin Edgar (Hazel) Guigue; his special friends: Vickie and Ted Heckman and Doran Wedge;as well as many friends and neighbors.
