Allegan, MI, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. Mr. Robbins was born October 2, 1922 in Pullman, the son of Walter J. and Elsie (Rumph) Robbins. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served during WWII.. Surviving are his step children, Allen and Betty Dell of Allegan, Kim and Eddie Newcomb of Pullman and Paul Reed of Kalamazoo; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, brother, Harold, and sister, June. Military graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp. Military Chaplain John Neese and the Otsego VFW Post 3030 will officiate. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
