of Allegan, went to be with her Lord, Monday, May 30, 2011 at the Metro Health Hospital in Wyoming, Michigan. Wallie was born January 3, 1942, in Cook County, IL, the daughter of Walter and Ethel (Merrill) Tafil. She loved people and she loved her Lord, and spent many years sharing His good news with family, friends and strangers. She was a true evangelist. She had spent the last 11 years living in Metro Health Assisted Breathing Center, where she touched many lives sharing God's love and displaying her immovable faith. Surviving are her husband, Tom, 2 children; Renee and Greg Schmidt, and Eric and Sarah Zugel all of Allegan, 2 grandchildren, Madeline and Gabrielle, 1 brother, Frank and Debra Tafil, and her sister, Sandra and Bob Dalton, and her great aunt, Annamae Merrill, all of Allegan, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, June 3, 2011, from 11 -1 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where the Memorial service will be held at 1 pm. Pastors Lester Putney and Paul Knuckles will officiate. Interment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Memorials may be made to the Metro Health Foundation / Assisted Breathing Center, 5900 Byron Center Ave., Wyoming, MI 49519. She blessed our lives so that we can be a blessing to others.
