Newaygo, MI, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2002 at his home. Mr. Buhler was born March 23, 1922 in Salem Twp., MI, the son of Fred and Lydia (Buege) Buhler. He had been employed at Muskegon Piston Ring in Sparta, retiring in 1984. Surviving are his wife, Doris (Lynn); 2 children and their spouses, David and Virgie Buhler of Jackson and Shirley and Larry Rose of Fremont; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Loren and Viv Buhler of Zeeland; sister-in-law, Marguerite Buhler of Byron Center. He was preceded in death by a brother, Norwood Buhler, and a granddaughter, Jennifer Buhler. Friends may meet with the family from 11 a.m. Friday until time of service at 1 p.m. Friday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. Pastor Norman Byers officiating.
