Allegan, MI, died Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mrs. Wells was born December 21, 1912 in Denver, CO, the daughter of Bert and Hannah (Delano) Cooley. She attended the Allegan First Church of God. Surviving are 2 children, Wayne Cram and Shirley and Clayton Taylor, all of Allegan; 4 stepchildren, Frank Wells of Oregon, Raymond Wells of Plainwell, Russell Wells of Nevada and Bertha Fleis of Traverse City; 10 grandchildren, many step grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Chester Cooley of Otsego; 1 sister, Audrey Brenner of Allegan; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Leo Cram and Moses Wells, daughter, Norma Williams, 1 brother, Howard Cooley, 1 sister, Edna Arnsman, and 2 stepsons, Carl and Elmer Wells. Friends may meet with the family from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Pastor Donald Hendrick officiating. Interment Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice.
