Allegan, Michigan, died Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at her home. Mrs. Thompson was born February 19, 1934 in Grand Junction, MI, the daughter of Charles and Barbara (Lung) Tyler. She enjoyed her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are 4 children, Ginger and Steve McNees of Sherman, TX, Leo and Susan Bloom of Allegan, James and Bobbie Bloom of Greenville, OH, and Randy and Angie Bloom of Allegan; 3 stepchildren, Genese and Dan Harvey of Indiana, Dianne and Floyd McEwen of Otsego, and Terry Thompson of Otsego; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Chuck and Bert Tyler of Kalamazoo, Bill Banks of Kalamazoo, and Fred Banks of Allegan; 1 sister, Frankie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis, and 2 sons, George Bloom and Boyd Bloom. Friends may meet with the family from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Pastor Tom Boland officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Contributions may be made to Borgess VNA and Hospice.
