Allegan, MI, died Thursday, December 21, 2006 at the Allegan Co. Medical Care Facility. Mrs. St. John was born January 25, 1920 in Dunningville, the daughter of Arthur and Lillian (Hansen) Janke. She was a graduate of Allegan High School, class of 1938. She had been a member of the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church for 53 years. She had been employed at Friedlen's and Delano's and was a volunteer at the Allegan General Hospital. Surviving are her husband, Clifford; 3 children and their spouses, Karen St. John and Dr. Carl Passal of Minnesota, Richard and Peggy St. John of Allegan and Sandra and Randy Walker of Colorado; 4 grandchildren, Renee, David, Jennifer, and Daniel; 1 brother and his wife, Harold and Doris Janke of Pennsylvania; 1 sister and her husband, Hildred and Paul Lugtigheid of Allegan. She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Pastor Ronald Kruse officiating. Interment Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Twp.
