LOUDIN, Viola B. Grand Haven, formerly of Allegan, died Thursday, April 18, 2002 at Shore Haven Mercy Living Center in Grand Haven. Mrs. Loudin was born January 5, 1911 in Kenton, KY, the daughter of Joseph E. And Kokaree (Redmond) McClain. She had provided home care to many families in the Allegan/Saugatuck area. Surviving are 4 children and their spouses, Robert and Carol Valentine of Columbus, IN, Loy and Gisele Loudin of Turlock, CA, Richard and Barbara Loudin of Fennville and Diana and Alex Rivera of Carrollton, TX; 47 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jay "Jack" Gould Loudin, 2 sons, Donald Slade and Paul Loudin, daughter, Nancy Jean Slade, and brother, Joseph McClain. Graveside services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Pastor Tom Case officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ganges Baptist Church Building Fund.
