Victor G. Vigil, age 76, of Allegan entered Heaven to be with his Lord and Savior on July 14th, 2022. He was born August 14th, 1945 in Harlingen, TX to Pedro and Emilia Vigil. He worked over forty years as a buffer at both Holland Die Cast and Hydro Aluminum, where he also served proudly as a Union Steward. Victor was a dedicated family man and enjoyed the company of his children and grandchildren. He married the love of his life, Eva, in 1969. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2019 by renewing their vows in front of family and friends. His friends and family knew him as a generous man, who was always willing to help others. His favorite pastimes were working endless hours on his beautiful garden, watching his grandkids play multiple sports, helping his daughter and son with various projects, fishing with his wife and niece, hanging his festive Christmas lights, helping his wife make tamales, eating the cookies and sweets his niece always baked and of course, laughing and telling stories. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Eva Vigil; his two children, Tracy (Jeff) Wells of Hudsonville, MI and Victor (Esther) Vigil of Hamilton, MI; five grandchildren, Andrew and Josh Wells and Nathan, Seth and Noel Vigil; two great grandchildren, Emma and Holly Wells; his brothers and sisters, Crecencio (Sandy) Vigil of Des Moines, IA, Angela (Jesse) Garza of Holland, MI, Pedro Vigil of Zeeland, MI, Maria Ward of Yuma, AZ and Abel (Connie) Vigil of Allendale, MI; sister in law Susana Vigil of Dearborn, MI; brother in law Lupe Tijerina of Okeechobee, FL; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters, Idida Ramirez, Santiago Vigil, Ludin Flores and Lydia Tijerina. Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, July 20th, 2022 at 2:00 pm at The Bridge in Allegan; 247 N. Main St. Allegan, MI. Visitation with family and friends will immediately follow.
