Tracy Sue Boynton, 53 of Allegan, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Born November 17, 1969, in Allegan, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Lyle Sr. and Maxine (Ater) Allen and the wife of Richard Boynton, who survives. She was the loving sister to Wayne (Dawn) Allen and Phillip (Candy) Allen; and the late Lyle Allen, Jr., Cherrie Allen, Connie Allen, and Stan Allen. Tracy is also survived by her many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly and was always interested in where they were and what they were doing.
Tracy graduated from Allegan High School and became the Assistant Manager at the Family Dollar in Allegan. Tracy was well-loved by her colleagues and customers alike, her friendly demeanor and "gift of gab" making her a favorite among many.
Tracy was a woman of faith, and her church played a significant role in her life. She cherished the friendships she made within her church, often finding comfort and joy in their shared faith. Tracy's kindness and compassion reflected her deep-seated belief in the goodness of people, and she never hesitated to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Tracy always showed a genuine interest in people and their stories and truly loved creating relationships with people, especially her nieces and nephews whom she always took an interest in their lives and achievements.
Those who knew Tracy often described her as friendly, kind, and faith-filled. She had a knack for making others feel valued and heard, and her presence often brought warmth and comfort to any gathering. Her loss is deeply felt by all who knew her, but her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched.
Friends may meet with the family at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, at which time the Celebration of Life service will begin. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Tracy's name to the National Kidney Foundation, Attn: Gift Processing at National Kidney Foundation HQ, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016 or at https://www.kidney.org/.
