of Allegan, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at the Allegan General Hospital. Mr. Thomas was born November 4, 1937, in Morehead, KY, the son of Jeffrey and Fanny Thomas. Tommie worked for H.J. Heinz in Holland for 37 years, retiring in 2000. He loved spending time with his family and friends, he enjoyed hunting and golfing. Surviving are his wife, Anne, 3 son's; Tommie Jr. and Tina Thomas of Fennville, Jefferey Thomas and Rory Thomas, both of Holland, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Ernest Thomas of Fennville, 1 sister, Leora Wilson of IN, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, May 27, at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, from 4-7 pm. There will be no funeral services. Tommie will be cremated and taken home, to Kentucky, by his family.
