of Allegan, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Age 78 years. Tiney Pickering was born in Hazelhurst, Mississippi on January 21, 1933, the daughter of the late John and Frances (Furnace) Pickering. She worked as a representative in the health care industry for union #1199 in Indiana. Surviving are her children, Bettie (John) Jackson of Indiana and Malcah Yehudah (William Richardson) of Arizona; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; three brothers, Lonnie (Elizabeth) Linson of Mississippi, Standard (Sandra) Linson of Mississippi and John (Rosie) Linson of Chicago; four sisters, Eliza Thomas of Indiana; Maxine (Clarence) Thomas of South Haven; Alma Linson of Mississippi and Clemetine Roundtree of Mississippi; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and James; one sister, Rosie; and her step-father, Excell Linson. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Pinedale Seventh Day Adventist Church in Gobles , where a funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Mark Howard will officiate.
