Timothy-Jake Murray Visser, 28 of Allegan, Michigan, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 6, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Born June 9, 1994 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he was the son of Daryl Visser and Darlene (Foster) Strickler. Timothy-Jake, known to most as TJ, although he lived a short life, he made his im on this world and the lives he touched. Those blest to have known him were subject to his caring and kind nature. He was a jack of all trades willing to share his time and assistance to anyone in need. Being humble and selfless were just two wonderful traits of this "old soul" who brought so much joy to others. He loved to work, almost to a fault, but also enjoyed getting out to travel and see new surroundings. TJ loved all types of music, along with listening to audio books. Working on cars and woodworking were a few of TJ's passions, as well as spending time outdoors in nature. His contagious laugh, passionate disposition, and loving nature, along with his genuineness, made TJ easy to be around. Though on the other hand, he was known for his stubbornness and determination, which (most times) were wonderful qualities to possess. TJ was a loving son, brother, husband, father, friend and confidante that was taken away all too soon. He may be gone, but never far. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Ashley; their three children, Brendon, Aleaha, and Jack; his father, Daryl (Marsha Moore) Visser; his mother and stepfather, Darlene and Don Strickler; his siblings, Rachael (Kyle) Sheaffer, Bryce (Brittney) Strickler, and Chanz Strickler; his sister-in-love, Brittany Bass; and many nieces and nephews. TJ was preceded in death by his brother, Brett Visser; and his Grandma and Grandpa Visser. The family will meet with friends on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. The Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 3:00 PM at the First Church of God located at 1313 Marshall St., Allegan, Michigan 49010, with a one hour visitation prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to TJ's family in care of Ashley Visser, 3687 109th Ave., Allegan, Michigan 49010.
