Timothy Eugene Hunter, 59, of Allegan, MI passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at University of Michigan Health West Hospital in Wyoming, MI.  Born February 15, 1965, he was the son of the late Robert and Rozella (Sherwood) Hunter and was the husband of Laura Ann (Morgan) Hunter.  Timothy had worked at AMFCO where he met Laura.  Later he worked at Perrigo and most recently at Dollar General, which he thoroughly enjoyed as he loved talking to and interacting with people.  He was a lover of Ford Mustangs, especially his 89 Mustang, and a collector of die cast cars.  Timothy was a fan of University of Michigan and Detroit Lions football, Beavis and Butthead and NASCAR, with Jeff Gordon being his favorite driver to watch.  He also loved spending time up north camping and canoeing.  More than anything, spending time with his family brought Timothy his greatest joy, especially when he was surrounded by his grandchildren.

In addition to Laura, his wife of twenty-seven years, Timothy is survived by his children, Heather Covault, Amanda (Robert) Hensley and Sierra (Jordan) Dutcher; brothers, Brian Hunter, Trent Hunter, David Hunter and Kevin Hunter; his grandchildren, Madisen, Haley, Brennen, Hayden, Peyton, Braylin, Matthew, Mayson and Weston; and his great-granddaughter, LJ.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rozella; his daughter, Melissa Emmons in 2021; and his sister-in-law, Jenny.

The family will receive friends at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and a funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM.  Timothy will be laid to rest following the service in Oakwood Cemetery.
