Age 47, of Trowbridge Twp., Allegan, MI, died Monday, September 19, 2005 at his home. Tom was born March 22, 1958 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He had been employed by J. K. Machine in Kalamazoo for 8 years. Surviving are his wife, Charlotte (Taylor); 3 children, Mandy Huitt, Lindsey Nielsen, and Karlie Nielsen; 2 brothers, Doug and Carma Huitt of Portage, and John Huitt of Allegan; 4 sisters, Cheryl and Brian Cook, Carla Schafer, Jamie and Mark LaFountain, and Kammie Huitt, all of Allegan; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Joan (Allen) Huitt, father Marvin Huitt and brother, Dan. Friends may meet with the family from 11 a.m. Thursday until time of service at 1 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
