Age 52 of Allegan, died Saturday, March 19, 2005 at his home. Tom was born October 16, 1952 in Garden City, MI, the son of David and Evelyn (Thompson) Gendron. He had worked 20 years for Allegan County Mental Health. Tom was a caring father and loved his children more than anything. He always encouraged them to do their best and was very proud of them. He enjoyed the outdoors and deer hunting, and was an avid Lions fan. He had many friends, several since childhood. Surviving are 2 daughters, Erin and Megan, both of Allegan; his mother, Evelyn Gendron of Alma; 1 sister, Donna Fisher of Dexter; 2 nieces, Abigail Fisher and Georgia Fisher. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the GORDEN FUNERAL RESIDENCE, Allegan Chapel. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday 1:00 pm. at the First Presbyterian Church. Pastor Joseph Phipps officiating. Interment South Lyons Cemetery, South Lyons, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to a college fund for his daughters.
