of Allegan, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at his home. Mr. Janke was born October 10, 1932, in Dunningville, the son of Edmond and Susan Mollitor Janke. Ted graduated from Allegan High School in 1950. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked in construction in the Allegan area for most of his life, and was a member of the Allegan Eagles. Surviving are his companion of 16 years, Deb Gilbert, 6 children, Tony Janke of Hastings, Terry Davis, Tim and Gina Janke, Tammy Janke, Kelly Overhiser, all of Allegan, and Norman and Kirsten Overhiser of Portage, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 2 brothers, Red and Gloria Janke of Allegan, Pete and Bonnie Janke of Otsego, Beverly and Clare Predum of Plainwell, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Chuck and 3 sisters, Adaline, Cecilia and Connie. Memorial services will be held on Monday, November 22, at 1 pm at the Allegan Eagles, with a lunch to follow. Private interment at Dunningville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wings of Hope Hospice. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
