Hopkins Twp., MI passed away suddenly at her home Sunday, September 20, 2009. Mrs. Weick was born February 10, 1938 in Salem Twp., the daughter of Gerrit and Carrie (Wesseling) Harmsen. Surviving are her children, Christine and Marc Brott of Hamilton, and their children, Matt (April) Brott and Mike Brott, Bruce and Judy Weick of Allegan, and their children, Brad and Kelly Weick, Gary and Margie Weick of Byron Center, and their children, Lauren and Haley Weick, and Troy Weick of Dorr and his children, Steve, Paul and Vince Weick; her brother and sister, Clifford and Bonnie Harmsen of Burnips, and Joyce Ulberg of Hudsonville; several nieces and nephews. Thelma worked for many years for Haworth. She greatly enjoyed being at home with her flowers, her dog that was her constant companion, and the horses she used to raise. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
