Terry L. Dame, 50 of Hopkins, died Friday, July 22, 2005 at her home. Terry was born January 30, 1955 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Bernard and Myrtle (Dishaw) Gildner. She had a love for animals and had been a veterinary assistant at Monterey Veterinary Center for the past 9 years. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and had been a volunteer for Wings of Hope Hospice. She had a strong catholic faith and a great love for her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Richard; 3 children, Chad & Janna Dame of Allegan, Jennifer Whitlock of Allegan, Rich & Karen Dame of Hopkins; 7 grandchildren, Kurtis, Travis, and Gabbie Dame, Livia and Sophia Whitlock, Ethan and Noah Dame; her mother, Myrtle Gildner; 1 brother, Bernie Gildner, Jr.; 1 sister, Pat Sadlick; 1 half-brother and half-sister, Bobby and Kathy; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and 1 sister, Kathy. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-5 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 1pm at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Interment at St. Stanislaus Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
