Terressa J. Vote, Allegan, died peacefully Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at her home. Mrs. Vote was born August 15, 1912 in Bravo, Michigan, the daughter of James L. & Julia A. Thorp Boylan. On October 26, 1929 she married Harold Turner Vote who preceded her in death. She was a loving and much loved daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She spent her entire life caring for others. She lived on the family farm in Trowbridge Twp most of her life, and later in life at her home on Baseline Lake. She is survived by her by her 4 children, Crystal Coulter of Ohio, Phyllis and Arlyn Rice, Dale & Susan Vote and Nancy Vote all of Allegan, 9 grandchildren, John Coulter, Paul & Lisa Coulter, Lisa & Greg Sanders all of Ohio, and Todd & Melanie Rice, Sheri & Russ James, Denise & Michael Ball, Dixie & Bryan Lake, Bobbie Vote and Penny Pratt all of the Allegan Area, 17 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Virginia Faucher and Eileen Davis both of Allegan and Irene Dendel of Plainwell, 2 brothers, Irvin Boylan of Plainwell and Albert & Charlotte Boylan of Otsego. and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, George, Gerald & James Boylan. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday from 4-7 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 pm. Pastor Gail Pike will officiate.
