Sue Ann Haas, 78, of Allegan, MI passed away Monday, December 8, 2025 at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.  Born January 30, 1947 in Allegan, she was the daughter of the late Steven James and Jean Marie (Bartz) Haas.  Sue was a long-time member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.  She was a talented seamstress and had also worked as a hairstylist for a number of years.  Sue loved needlepoint and spent many hours knitting and crocheting beautiful items for family and friends.  She was also passionate about animals, especially raising horses and goats, and had welcomed many dogs into her family over the years.  Sue was a patient and kind teacher who loved to share her love of horses by teaching young people to ride and care for them.  She was a wonderful, caring woman who is deeply missed by those who loved her.

Sue is survived by her children, Anthony (Susanne) Walters and Janet (Joe) McDermott; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.  A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM and burial will follow in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Cemetery.
