Stuart A. Whipple, 44 of Hopkins, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 24, 2016 at work. Mr. Whipple was born July 30, 1972 in Muskegon, Michigan, the son of Stephen and Sheryl (Shea) Whipple. He was a Class of 1991 Hopkins High School graduate. For the past 6 years, Stuart has been working as a security guard for G4S Secure Solutions at the G.M. Delphi Plant in Wyoming, Michigan. He enjoyed his job and the people he worked around. Being a person that truly loved helping people, this was the perfect profession for him. Not only did he help those at his workplace, but he was always there for his family and friends, not to mention anyone that seemed to be in need. Stuart had a generous and giving nature and if he could lend a hand to someone, he was more than happy to do so. When it came to finding his own peace, Stuart would take to his bike and enjoy a nice ride, calling it his "wind therapy." He felt free and easy when he was on his motorcycle. He was a loving and caring husband and father and will be missed greatly. Surviving is Stuart's loving wife, Natasha; his 4 children: Tyler Whipple, Matthew Reniss, Anthony Whipple and Jamie Whipple; his mother, Sheryl Whipple; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Whipple; his brother, Scott Whipple; Grandmother, Rose Whipple; Uncle Lynn Whipple; and cousin, Bobby. A Gathering for friends to meet with the family will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 5-7 PM at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel.
