59, was called home to meet Jesus Tuesday, April 2, 2013. He was born June 15, 1953 and raised in Allegan, MI where he met many lifelong friends and would eventually meet the woman he would deeply love all his life. Jim was a devoted husband and loving father who was strong in his faith and generous with his love. He was often referred to as, "the kindest man ever met", and was quick to share a smile and offer a kind word to everyone he met. Jim lived and loved a life of service, always putting others in front of himself. We find comfort in knowing he will be warmly welcomed into heaven as a good and faithful servant of The Lord. Jim leaves behind his beloved wife, Krista Rapa; two children: Jim (Beth) Rapa and Katy (Trenton) Langkamp; five grandchildren he adored: Avery, Paige, Addison, Logan, and Griffin; also survived by: Ron and Cathy Rapa, Pam and Dave Ashley, Debbie and Denny Stora, and Esther Rapa along with many, much loved family and friends. Friends may meet with the family from 3-5:00 P.M. on Friday, April 12, 2013 at The Silo Banquest Hall, 1071 32nd Street, Allegan, Michigan 49010. The Service starts at 3:00 P.M.
