of Kalamazoo. Passed away at his home on Sunday, February 19, 2012. Age 57. He was born December 26, 1954, the son of the late John and Virginia Mitchell. He graduated from Allegan High School. He was a member of Saint John's COGIC Church in Allegan. Steven worked as a shipping supervisor for Mead Paper Products, which became Rock - Tenn Corporation, for 30 years. He is survived by two daughters, Tania Mitchell and April Mitchell both of Kalamazoo; brothers and sisters, John D. (Regina) Johnson, Tom (Rose) Mitchell, Virginia Willis, Robert and (Rosita) Mitchell and Denise Mitchell; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Johnson; a brother-in-law, Henry Willis; a niece, Kiss Johnson; and a nephew, Anthony Horne. Friends may meet with the family from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2012 at Saint John's COGIC Church , 716 Academy St., Allegan, MI. Funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Pastor Jeremiah Johnson will officiate with interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials my be made to Saint John's COGIC Church.
