Monterey Twp., Allegan, MI, died Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Spectrum Health, Butterworth Campus, Grand Rapids. Mr. Kuieck was born July 26, 1958 in Grand Rapids, the son of Steve Jr and Orlene (VanderKlok) Kuieck. He was a 1976 graduate of Ottawa Hills High School, Grand Rapids, and had served in the U.S. Army. He had been employed for 15 years at VanEerden Trucking in Byron Center. Surviving are his wife, Joni (Sova); 3 daughters, Stephanie, Samantha and Ashlee, all at home; Mother, Orlene Kuieck of Grand Rapids; 1 sister, Mary Kay and Tom VandenToorn of Grand Rapids; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, and from 11 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
