Stella A. Obuchowski, 84 of Oak Lawn, IL died Friday, June 4, 2004 at her son's home in Allegan. Mrs. Obuchowski was born January 20, 1920 in Chicago, IL the daughter of John and Sophie (Dudek) Mytych. She was a very devoted mother, her life was her children. Surviving are 4 children and their spouses, Marilyn & Leo Kucia of McHenry, IL, William & Gale Obuchowski, James & Carolyn Obuchowski, Marian & Michael Zylo all of Allegan; 3 grandchildren, Edward Carey, Jr, Paula Obuchowski, and William Obuchowski, Jr; 3 great grandchildren, Joey, Bobby and Ben Carey. She was preceded in death by her husband Chester John in 1966. Visitation and the funeral service were held at Lawn Funeral Home in Burbank, IL on Monday and Tuesday, June 7 & 8. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice of Allegan County or the National Kidney Foundation.
