Stanley Lee Allen, 60, of Allegan, Michigan, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022 at his home. Born November 21, 1961 in Allegan, Michigan, he was the son of the late Lyle and Maxine (Ater) Allen. Stan was known to many as the life of the party, a family man, and a friend with a heart of gold. He would be happy to help anyone in need, proving it by serving for 10 years as a volunteer fireman for the Allegan Fire Department. In Stan's earlier years, he enjoyed snowmobiling with many of his friends, and especially with his son, Zach. He was also an avid golfer. Stan had worked 28 years for JB Lab/Perrigo as a Receiving Specialist until his diabetes created various health problems for him. His fun-loving nature and humor will be missed by all those that knew and loved him. Stan is survived by his son, Zachery Allen; his partner of 16 years, Mila Clemens; his siblings, Wayne (Dawn) Allen, Phil (Candy) Allen, Tracy (Rick) Boynton; stepson, Josh Clemens; brother-in-law, Tom Wilson; two grandchildren, Ryker and Laykin; and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lyle "Butch" Allen; and his two sisters, Cherrie Allen and Connie Wilson. A Celebration of Life service and luncheon will be held at the Allegan Eagles (110 Chestnut Street, Allegan, Michigan 49010) on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
