View Photo Tribute age 74, of Cedar Springs, formerly of Pierson, went to be with his Lord Sunday, May 1, 2005. Mr. Rader graduated from Howard City High School in 1949 and served his country during the Korean Conflict 1951-53. He married Nadine Cook on Sept. 3, 1955. He was an employee of the Kroger Company for 27 years and later retired from Baker Furniture Company in 1995. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Howard City. Surviving are his wife, Nadine; children, Randy (Shari) Rader of Grand Rapids, Lori (Robert) Hofman of Byron Center, Janet (Kevin) Pike of Allegan; grandchildren, Tyler, Justin, Ryan Rader, Kyle, Kelly Hofman, Courtney, Ellen and Meredith Pike; mother-in-law, Edna Cook, of Grand Rapids; sister-in-law, Nora (Bill) Bolthouse of Bakersfield, CA; brother-in-law, Bill (Sharon) Cook of Newaygo; several nieces and nephews.
