Sheryl Katherine Whipple (Shea) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, September 22, 2021. Sheryl was born in the small but wonderful town of Hopkins, Michigan on November 2, 1948. She was the daughter of the late George and Shirley (Montgomery) Shea. And the wife of the late Stephen Whipple. Sheryl graduated from Hopkins High and attended college in Muskegon for Music. She was incredibly talented in everything she did and breathed. Sheryl had a love and endearment for her garden where she loved spending a lot of her time. She also had a real passion for crocheting and sewing for her family and friends. In her younger years, she would spend a lot of time and energy with her horses. She was an amazing woman, who loved and cherished her family above all else. Sheryl loved spoiling and spending as much time as she could with her great-granddaughter Madison. She is survived by her grandchildren; Tyler Whipple, Matthew Reniff, Anthony Whipple, and Jamie Whipple; and great-granddaughter Madison Whipple. Along with her husband and parents, Sheryl was preceded in death by her siblings, Kathy Shea, Jim Shea; and children, Scott Whipple, Stuart Whipple. Family will be having a celebration of life this Saturday, September, 25 at Friendship Bible in Hopkins. The visitation will be from 10:00am - 11:00am, with a service starting at 11:00am. The family will then have a procession down to the cemetery for a 12:00pm graveside committal. Donations may be made to the Tyler Whipple family. Service Details.
